Lee Cox

Lee passed away unexpectedly April 8, 2014 at age 64 at his home in rural Lincoln.Calif. Lee grew up in Big Pine, Calif., and graduated from Big Pine High School. After graduation, he served in the U.S. Army. He spent his life in the construction business in Northern Calif., first as a Plumbing Contractor, and later expanding his business to General Engineering and Heavy Equipment Construction. He worked on many large Water and Waste Water Treatment plants in Northern Calif., as well as major renovation projects on the Folsom Dam in Folsom, Calif.
Lee was an avid outdoorsman and gun enthusiast, he loved fishing, hunting, and sport shooting. He and his wife Barbara owned and operated a horse ranch for several years, before retiring from the business in 1995. Lee had recently began teaching a physical therapy Tai Chi class. He enjoyed the people in his class and genuinely cared about each of them.
Lee was a devoted husband, loving father, and proud grandfather who leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memory, his wife of 37 years, Barbara, a son, Brian and daughter-in-law Michele of Folsom, Calif., two daughters; Leah and son-in-law Shane, of Sacramento, Calif., and Geralee of Harrisburg, Pa., two brothers; Larry Cox of Long Beach, Calif., and Billy Cox and sister-in-law Windy of Big Pine, Calif., brother-in-law Dave and sister-in-law Gail, both of South Dakota, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Lee was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and one grandson.
