Robert J. Kraft
7/22/1934 - 10/29/2013

A wonderful provider who created a loving, stable home for his family. Bob showed his love by doing anything for anyone. His family is especially proud of his service to the community: volunteering at Adalante High School (bring tobacco awareness to teenagers), many city council meetings, picketing the state capital and writing editorials in local newspapers to fight "Big Tabacco", make things right in Roseville and single handedly bringing a park and bike path to and through their neighborhood for the children. He also loved nature - joyfully hunting, fishing, camping and gardening.
He died in the house he built and lived in for 47 years with his devoted wife, Barbara, who canned all the fruits and vegetables he grew. He is also survived by his children: Paul, Marianne and Mark and 9 grandchildren.
Bob was an exemplary example of living a simple yet rich life.
A mass will be held Friday, November 8, 2013 at 10 a.m. at St. Rose Church in Roseville. Immediately followed by a reception at the church.
