Cannon Hansen
10/10/1924 - 03/03/2014

Suzanne "Sue" Cannon Hansen was born October 10, 1924 in Sacramento, California and passed away March 3, 2014 in Spokane, Washington after a long battle with Dementia.
Sue grew up in Newcastle, Calif. where her family owned and operated the Quality Market which she later managed. In her youth, she enjoyed riding her horse through the mountains near Cisco Grove while staying at her grandfather's cabin.
After marrying the love of her life, Harold J. Hansen, they raised 3 daughters and enjoyed an active life in Loomis, Calif.
Sue was a member of Penryn Chapter Eastern Star and a lifelong 49er faithful supporter. She could discuss a football game with the most knowledgeable fan and hold her own. She enjoyed spending time with family, bus trips to Reno, playing bridge, singing in the church choir, playing piano, reading, knitting, flowers, and bird watching.
Sue is survived by her three daughters Nicki Reid (husband Bruce) of Loon Lake, Washington, Karen Yancey (husband John) of Spokane, Washington, and Betsy Hansen of Loomis. She had two grandsons Toby McAuliffe (wife Nicole) of Seattle, Washington and Cris Yancey (wife Amanda) of Spokane, and four great-grandchildren Keenan and Eden McAuliffe of Seattle and Lawson Stout and Silas Yancey of Spokane.
A memorial gathering and burial will be held later in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Shrine Hospital for Children.
