Michael Emmet McConnehey

Michael Emmet McConnehey passed away Monday November 12, 2012 in Auburn California. Mike, as he was better known to his friends and family, was born in Norfolk, Virginia on October 3, 1946 to his father Charles Edward McConnehey and mother Pauline Edith McConnehey.
Mike served four years is the United States Air Force and was honorable discharged in 1971. Following his time in the service Mike moved to California and worked for the United States Postal service. Mike began his own mechanic shop around 1990 and has been well known within the community for his abilities as a mechanic. Mike will be remembered by the community as a loving father, a business man of integrity and well known for his beloved dog named Mayday.
Mike leaves behind his sister, Mary and brother, Charles. Mike also leaves behind his daughter, Caitlin and son-in-law, Micah. Mike will be remembered by many great friends and loyal customers.
A memorial service will be held in Mike's honor on Monday the 26th of November at 3 p.m. at the Auburn Veterans Memorial Hall. Flowers may be delivered to the hall on the 26th between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
