Tamara Sue Shores (Tammy) 47, born in Stockton, Calif., on December 10,1964 was found deceased in her home in French Corral, Calif., on May 16, 2012 under suspicious circumstances. Cause of death listed as undetermined with possible asphyxia.
Tammys parents are the late Clara Munnerlyn and Nolen shores of Stockton, Calif.
Tammy is survived by her sister Janet Hoogendyk of Weimar, Calif.; sister, Debbie Trunnell of Stockton, Calif.; brother, George Moore of Rimrock, Ariz.; sister Dori Elias of Washington; Uncle Clarence Munnerlynn of Elk Grove, Calif.; Aunt Cleata Munnerlyn of Stockton, Calif.; and partner Russell Prinz of French Corral, Calif.
Tammy was preceded in death by her late sister Davine Elias of Clearlake Calif.; late sister Sandra Owen Of Tucson, Ariz.
A memorial was held for Tammy on June 27, 2012 in Grass valley, Calif. Arranged by Turning Point Providence Center, where she made numerous friends, and was loved by all the counselors. Tammy had a hard life and battled with schizophrenia, but still had a passion for life.
Tammy loved gardening, doing volunteer work at hospice thrift store in Grass Valley, Calif., and luncheons with her favorite Uncle Clarence. She had a love of animals and adored her dogs Mac and Sassy.
Tammy was a beautiful person and is deeply missed by her friends and family.
