M.C. Jack Dwyer, of Arvada
-- Jack Dwyer, 92, retired manager of communications
from Bell Communications, beloved husband and
father passed away peacefully on 11/21/13. He
was born 7/7/21 in Englewood, Colorado, served
his country in the Navy during World War II and
was a lifelong resident of Colorado. He was active
in the community with Jobs Daughters, coached
baseball, loved the Rockies, was a skilled fisherman
and enjoyed woodworking. He was preceded in
death by his parents Willis and Ethel Dwyer, infant
son Eddie, and great-grandson Gus. He is survived
by his wife of 67 years, Shirley Dwyer, son Doug
(Sandy) Creager, daughter Kay (Ron) Rees, son
Skip (Julie) Dwyer, 8 grandchildren and 13 great-
grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. Services
were held at the Chapel of Lutheran Hospital,
8300 W 38th Ave., Wheat Ridge, Colorado, 80033
on Sunday, December 1st, 2013, at 1 p.m. Donations can be
made in his memory to Ronald McDonald Denver Charities
