Barbara Louise
Green was born
in Council Bluffs,
Iowa on November
7, 1936 to
James R. Wiseman
and Gayle E.
Hill (Pickrell); at
the age of 77, she passed
away peacefully at her
home in Castle Rock,
Colorado on June 25, 2014
while surrounded by her
family.
Barbara is best known
for being the loving
mother (mother-in-law) of
Brenda K. Hill; Richard J.
Hill (Kim); Ronald M. Hill
(Melissa); K. L. "Mack"
Hill (Sherri); W. C. "Nick"
Hill, Retired Master Sergeant
U.S.M.C. (Bonnie);
Shelia D. Anderson (Hill,
[Trevor]), Bill Willingham,
JoAnn Beane (Willingham,
[Doug]), and former
in-laws.
She was also the doting
grandmother to 24 grandchildren,
29 great grandchildren,
and 1 great, great
grandchild.
She was the eldest of 9
children and is survived
by the following siblings:
Phyllis Owens (Wiseman),
Shirley Fisher (Wiseman),
Cheryll Espinoza (Duffy),
Mary "Micki" Woolsey
(Duffy), and Melody
Campbell (Hill). She was
preceded in death by
her husband, Jaye "Red"
Willingham; her parents,
James Wiseman and
Gayle Hill; her siblings,
Marilynne "Lynne" Wiseman,
Timothy "Timmy"
Duffy, and Daniel
"Danny" Zinanti
(Duffy); her
grandchildren,
Lance Conner and
Amber Hill; and
her son-in-law,
Trevor Anderson.
Barbara made numerous
friends while employed
as a preschool teacher,
school-bus driver, bartender,
and mail carrier.
She was also blessed to
have an extended family
through her significant
involvement with the
Fraternal Order of Eagles,
the Veteran of Foreign
Wars Ladies Auxiliary, the
Rocky Mountain Rendezvous
Company, and her
bowling league. Barbara
was an avid sports fan,
particularly the Denver
Broncos and Colorado
Rockies. Her favorite hobbies
were fishing, cards,
and Bingo.
Barbara touched countless
lives with her kindness
and generosity. She
will be greatly missed, but
her legacy will live on. All
of her friends are welcome
to join her family to celebrate
her life on August
2nd from 10 am to 2 pm at
the Castle Rock Fraternal
Order of Eagles #3947 located
at 150 Caprice Court
Castle Rock, CO 80109.
