Denver contracted
a rare brain infection
which caused him to
lose consciousness
and battled for two
weeks in intensive
care prior to his
peaceful transition.
He grew up in the
Perry Park and Castle
Rock, Colorado area and attended
Douglas County high school.
Denver was best known for his love of
the outdoors, his dogs and fly-fishing.
Denver was preceded in transition
by his father, Bill Dellinger. Denver
is survived by his wife Cathy, his son
Ryan Smith (Shawnie), his sister Dede
Shackell (Leonard), his brother Buck
Dellinger (Connie), his mother Marty
Dellinger, four nieces Jennifer, MRD,
Amanda, Tara and his current best dog
Denver's open house celebration of
life will be held at the home of Buck &
Connie Dellinger 5436 S. Laredo St.,
Centennial CO 80015 on June 9th from
11am to 4pm. There will be opportunities
to share stories
and memories at 1pm
and 3pm. Everyone
is welcome – please
