Donald McLaughlin, age
81 formerly of North Glenn
, CO, passed away peacefully
in his sleep the night
of September 5, 2018. He
was born February 28, 1937,
in Grover, CO.
He Served in the US Military
in Alaska and Tacoma
WA.
Don truly lived his life to the fullest,
through simple pleasures, chatting
with family and friends, playing and
coaching baseball and playing pranks
on you. He truly enjoying life!
He was an amazing father. Husband
and friend. He was always positive
and looked for the best in everyone.
He worked at Monfort Packing and
opened his own thrift store The wooden
Nickel and sold at the flea market
in his later years.
He loved to laugh, especially if
someone got hurt which he passed
on to his son Kirk.
He is survived by his Wife
Linda and brother Clifford
McLaughlin. His siblings
who preceded his death:
Silas McLaughlin, Richard
McLaughlin Betty Burns,
Florence Rathburn, Maxine
Holtz, Melvin McLaughlin,
Lawrence McLaughlin, and
Elmer Mclaughlin. He is survived by
his children; Kim Dominguez, Di Andia
Peterson, Cleatus Hall, Rick Hensley,
Gary Anderson, Shelly Anderson-
Wilson, Kelly Clemenson, and Kirk
McLaughlin. 12 grandchildren, 11
great grandchildren nieces, nephews,
and cousins. And his beloved dog
Shorty.
Family, friends, and others whose
lives Don touched are invited to
gather at 1338 S. Jason Street Denver,
CO 80223 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm on
Friday September 21. 2018 to reminisce,
grieve, and celebrate the life of
a wonderful man.
