A Denver icon in the
automobile industry, Golden
Ford Owner Ed Dubravac
passed away peacefully at
home in the comfort of family.
Born in Denver of immigrant
parents, he began working
delivering newspapers at the
age of 12 to be able to afford
a 'barbershop' haircut. He
maintained a life-long strong work
ethic. Ed, his brother Lou, son Scott, and
dedicated employees worked to grow
Golden Ford into a respected dealership;
During their 49 year ownership, Ford
Motor Company awarded them five
'Four Letter Dealer' awards, thirtyone

awards, six 'Excellence In Customer
Service' awards and two prestigious

based on customer care, service, and
referral business. He loved his family,
music, fine dining with family and
friends, conversation, photography,
travel, winning when playing the slot
machines, and his dogs. He was a lover
of life, visualizing and creating his life.
He was the beloved husband for 66 years
