William T Caneer (went by

passed away peacefully on
January 17th 2018 in Green
Mountain CO.
He served in the army and was in the
AirForce Reserve.
He was retired from Colorado School
of Mines Research Institute and was a
tireless volunteer support at Dinosaur
Ridge and Triceratops Trail.
T was a primary influence to convince
the city of Golden to build Fossil Trace
Golf Course with preservation of the
footprints, traces and impressions
left behind by dinosaurs
and plants of an ancient
swampy habitat 68 million yrs
ago.
The Caneer's moved to
Golden in 1967. His wife was Carolynn
(now deceased).
