Clayton Francis "Red" Sutliff

Clayton (Red) Francis Sutliff passed away July 21, 2013 at the age of 83. He was raised in Stonyford and lived in Willows for 65 years. On December 31, 1948 Clayton married his high school sweetheart, Juanita Troxel, from Elk Creek. They were married for 59 years. Clayton was the Shop Foreman for Glenn Colusa Irrigation District until his retirement. He is survived by his daughters, Mary Jensen of Redding and Susan (husband Ronnie) Davis of Woodland; brother, Charles (Mickey) Sutliff of Stonyford; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita. Family and friends are welcome to celebrate Clayton's life on Tuesday, August 13 at 11:00 a.m. at the Elks Lodge located at 150 S. Shasta Street in Willows.
