No services will be held for Henry Howard Quint, Sr. who died Thurs. Feb 28 in Sacramento at the Casa Coloma Health Care Center after struggling with Parkinson's. Internment will be in the Willows Cemetery.
Born April 7, 1935 in Willows where he resided until 2011. He was the son of Lloyd Quint and former City Clerk May Quint who both preceded him in death.
He spent his entire professional career working for I.G. Zumwalt, which later became Peterson Tractor. He was an avid sportsman who lived and loved hunting, fishing and trap shooting and was a member of the Willows Rifle Club for many years.
He is survived by children from his first marriage to Carolyn Jean Messer. Tami Douglass (Rock) of Willows, Cindi Williams (Jeff) of Willows, Henry, Jr. (Nadica) of North Carolina and Sherri Quint of Willows, brother Raymond (Karen) of Shingletown and sister Lloydell of Sacramento. Also survived by many Grandchildren, which includes a Great Grandson born the day before his death.
He also leaves his second wife Kathleen of Sacramento and her children from a previous marriage.
He never knew a stranger and was loved by many.
