Fermin Alberro, 69, passed away on April 6, 2013, in Corning, California, after a long illness. Fermin was born September 12, 1943, in Arizicun, Navarra, Spain to Maria Josefa Burgurete and Joaquin Alberro. Fermin came to the United States in 1963, where he began his life as a sheepherder and dairy farmer. He met his wife, Denise and together they had one child, known to the community as "Mincho".

He is survived by step-sons,-Troy Shawn (wife) Plamer and Cliff Palmer, former daughter-in-law Amber Arrowwood; sisters, Visitacion, Dolores, Maria Luisa, Lourdes (Marcelino), Emiliana (Miguel), Chonita (Alejandro); brother, Anastasio (Merche); and sister-in-law, Ana Tranche; brother-in-law, Dave Smith; 3 step-grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife-Denise, son-"Mincho", brother-Pedro, and 3 brothers-in-law; Martin Baltasar, Francisco Arregui and Pete Alberro.
A Celebration of Life for Fermin, Denise, and "Minch" will be scheduled for a later time.
