Pamela Ann Roundy passed away Jan. 4, 2014. She was 66 years. Pam was born on July 26, 1947 in Chico, Calif. to John and Mary Johnson. She was raised in Oroville and attended Oroville High School where she was a cheerleader and won several public speaking awards before graduating in 1965. She attended Chico Sate University, and then fashion merchandising school in San Francisco, where she worked for over a year before returning to Chico. Pam worked in retail first at Roos Atkins, then at J.C. Penny Co. where she also modeled.

In 1970, Pam married Bruce Roundy and they settled in Chico. In 1973 they moved to Orland and Pam continued working for Penny's until 1978 when she earned her real estate license. Pam worked as a Real Estate Agent and then as a Broker for 37 years. She purchased Land Office Reality in 1988 and operated a successful real estate and property management business. Pam and Bruce's son, Jon Roundy, was born in 1976; their daughter, Brooke Roundy was born in 1978.
Pam was very active in the community and her church. She was a longtime member of the congregation of First Lutheran Church, and sang in the choir. She was involved with many organizations including Children's Home Society, Orland High School Boosters, Glenn County Economic Committee, Realty Associations, the Orland Arts Council, Orland Pantry, and was a longtime member of Rotary, where she held various leadership positions over the years.
Pam loved camping with family and friends at Bucks Lake and on the coast. She was an avid reader, loved to golf and travel, play Bunko and host parties at her house. She was ever thoughtful and loved to give. Pam was a devoted mother and grandmother, and friend to many.
She is preceded in death by her son Jon Roundy and her parents John and Mary Johnson.
She is survived by her former husband Bruce Roundy of Orland; daughters, Brooke Roundy (Darren Gardner) of Los Gatos and Christine Delucchi (Martha Blalock) of Washington DC; grandchildren Julian McMahon and Grey Gardner; sisters, Judy Buzza (Duke) of Orville, Susan Garnett (Bill) of Pleasanton; brothers, Scott Johnson (Janet) of Chico, Eric Johnson (Rhonda) of Oroville, and Danny Johnson (Willie) of Chico; aunts, Doris Tooley and Eunice McCarthy of Redding; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog Daisy.
Services will be held on Sat. January 18, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Federated Church in Orland. Donations may be made in Pam's memory to Orland Rotary or the Orland Town and County Humane Society. Arrangements are under the care of F.D. Sweet & Son Mortuary,
