Teri Allison Gardner passed away July 10 at her home in Fort Collins. She was born Jan. 16, 1963, in Boulder, to Lynn Hansen Stewart, of Spanish Fork, Utah, and Joan Adams Stewart of Parowan, Utah.
She married her high-school sweetheart, Gene Harrison Gardner, of Boulder, Aug. 16, 1986. She graduated from Metropolitan State University in Denver with a degree in business, working various jobs before becoming a full-time mother.
Teri was a very genuine person; she would tell you what you needed to hear in the nicest way possible. She was supportive of everyone and went to every one of her children's games and events. In high school she played softball and she played the flute in marching band.
Teri was an avid Broncos fan. She gave birth to her youngest daughter the day the Broncos had that season's first playoff game. The doctor came into the room and told her, "Let's get this baby out so we can watch the game." The Broncos went on to win the Super Bowl that year.
She was an avid fan of reading, working on puzzles and crafts, and she loved to go places with her kids. She loved her three children more than anything in the world, even more than puzzles.
Survivors are her sister, Debra (Stewart) McKay (Timothy J. McKay) of Ludington, Michigan; her husband; and her three wonderful children Jacob William Gardner, Sarah Emily Gardner and Nicole Marie Gardner. Her parents preceded her in death,.
Viewing and the funeral were July 20 at Crist Mortuary in Boulder. Teri will be laid to rest at Mountainview Memorial Park.
