James Max Westmoreland, Sr., 86, of Cordova, native of Lepanto, AR, passed August 19, 2013. He served the US Army in Tokyo, Japan, he was a past member of both the Moose and Elk Lodges of Mphs., an avid fisherman, loved and respected by family and friends. He leaves his daughter, Carole Westmoreland, son, Max Westmoreland Jr.; half sister and brother of AR, three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; their family members and many special West Clinic and Hospice caretakers. A family memorial will be held at Methodist Healthcare Hospice Residence Chapel on August 24, 2013.
