Oakland - BRYSON “BJ” JACKSON, 75, formerly of Munford, TN, retired welder for International Harvester, died October 14, 2013 at Methodist North Hospital. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., Thursday, October 17, and Service will be 11 a.m., Friday, October 18, both at Munford Funeral Home, Munford Chapel. Interment in Helen Crigger Cemetery. He was a member of the Elks Club and a Navy veteran. Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by parents, John and Doris Pate Jackson, his wife, Betty Ferguson Jackson, one sister, Elizabeth Geraldine Tucker, two brothers, John Julian Jackson and Algie “Gator” Jackson. He is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Jackson Post; his friend and companion, Maxine McKell; sisters, Mary Ann Hunter, Carolyn Lantto, Shelby Lowe, Wanda Lynn Bellow, and Paulette Belk, and also many beloved nieces and nephews.
