MCGEE, JANE CAROLYN - Bartlett  
Jane Carolyn KEEN McGee, 74, was called home August 27, 2015. Carolyn grew up in Memphis and graduated from Tech High School. In 1959, she married the love of her life, Bill McGee, and started a family. Carolyn retired from the Shelby County Sheriff's Office. She was an avid worldwide traveler and Bingo player. Survivors include her loving husband of 56 years, Bill McGee; four children, Vickie Allen (Dennis) of Lakeland, TN; Debbie Butler (Michael) of Cody, WY; Tammy Navarre (Jeff) of Franklin, TN, and Mike McGee (Judith) of Bartlett; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and three sisters. Visitation is Monday, August 31 from 12 p.m. - 2 p.m. at First Assembly of God, 8650 Walnut Grove Road with burial to follow immediately after at Memphis Funeral Home on Germantown Road. MOCK Jr., MELVIN HUBERT  
Senatobia - Melvin Hubert Mock, Jr., 76, passed away on August 27, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN. Services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, August 29, at Pate-Jones Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held 12-2 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Bethesda Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin H. Mock and Hilda Mock. He is survived by his wife, Carol B. Mock of Senatobia, MS; daughters, Renee Thompson (Ken) of Senatobia, MS, Penny Taylor (Dudley) of Coldwater, MS; son, David Mock (Jennifer) of Senatobia, MS; brother, Phil Mock of Senatobia, MS; grandchildren, Jessica Thompson, Bryan Taylor, Adam Taylor, Caroline Taylor, Jeanne Claire Hodges, Merriam Mock, niece, Hayley Warren; nephew, Scott Billingsley. He was a member of Senatobia First Baptist Church. Mr. Mock was a retired Electrician with the Tennessee Valley Authority for 35 years. He was a member of the Army National Guard for 34 years and retired as a First Sergeant in 1991 and was a volunteer for the Senatobia Fire Department for 30 years. He is survived by his son, Ross McCullar (Pam); sister, Alice Hubbard; brother, Ben McCullar and grandchildren, Nicole and Madison McCullar. MCKNIGHT, DORIS GATES  
Searcy - Doris Gates McKnight, age 82, died Monday, August 24, 2015 in Little Rock. Her journey began on October 14, 1932 in Memphis, TN. She graduated in 1950, attended Memphis State University and the University of Arkansas. She met Edward Dennis McKnight, Jr. in 1954. They married in 1955. This union lasted 49 years. They had three sons, Ed (Jean), Phillip (Angela), and Gates (Janet). They were blessed with two granddaughters, Katharine (Joel) and Anna Elizabeth (Joseph). She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Harlan Gates; a brother, Dr. Harlan Gates, II; and nephew, Eric Lee. Doris and Dennis were both members of First United Methodist Church, Searcy, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, Searcy.
