MIREE MCDOUGLE POMERING, 90, of Lakeland, retired Human Resources Manager for Raleigh K-Mart after 28 years, died at Kings Daughters & Sons Home of Bartlett on Tuesday, July 1. Visitation will be Friday from 5-7 p.m. with services Saturday at 10 a.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home (5668 Poplar Ave). Interment will follow at graveside in Memorial Park Cemetery. A proud veteran, Miree served in the Army. She was an active member of the American Business Woman’s Association (ABWA) and Raleigh-Bartlett Civitan Club. In her passing Miree joins her heavenly father, sweet sister Janis DeBardeleben Epler, beloved husband Hans Pomering and children Alicia Rossi and Allen Pomering. She is survived by her granddaughter Brandi Rossi Konda, niece Kristen M. Hunter (Epler), nephew-in-law Wade Hunter and great-niece Megan.
