Ashleigh R. (Killam) List, 29, died Thursday, December 6, 2012, at the Concord Hospital from injuries received in an automobile accident earlier that day.
Ashleigh was born in Manchester in February 1983 to Jeff and Cheryl (Birard) Killam and grew up in Hopkinton, attending the local elementary school and graduating from Hopkinton High School in 2001.
Ashleigh was a member of the Hopkinton Fire Department Explorers as well as the Hopkinton Police Department Explorers. In her youth she attended St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Hopkinton and sang in the junior choir.
Ashleigh leaves her husband of six years, Jason List, and their children Madyson and Jamison List, all of Concord; her parents Jeff and Cheryl Killam of Concord; a sister Hilary Killam of Concord; her paternal grandfather Perry Killam of Contoocook; maternal grandparents Roy and Dorothy Birard of Whitefield; as well as a special aunt, Betty Champagne of Goffstown; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
There will be no calling hours. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at 10 a.m. at the Wendell J. Butt Funeral Home, 42 Washington St., Penacook, NH 03303.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to College America for Madyson and Jamison List, c/o John Strasburger, Bay Point Financial, 45 S River Road, Bedford, NH 03110-6718.

My deepest sympathy goes out to Ashleigh's family and children especially. I worked with Ashleigh for a while and had the pleasure of spending time with her outside of work. She was a beautiful person and my prayers will be with the family always. I will miss Ashleigh and will be thinking of her until we meet again.

I worked at Dimitri's when Ashleigh and I were in high school. She was such a bright person always willing to help others. I remember her so well because of her devotion to her family, they are all wonderful.

Jeff, Cheryl, Hil and Aunt Buggy, I am so sorry for your loss and am praying for you all each day. Ash was family and without her and K, I don't know where I would be today as it was their friendship and love that helped me get through the loss of Mike and for that, I will always be grateful to Ash and will always remember her smile.
