I was thinking today of when I lived in Pittsfield. I was so surprised and pleased when I bumped into you and found out you lived down the street. I never forgot what a kind principal you were at GHS. We laughed about an assembly my Freshman year when you told our class we were as bad as the Juniors were good! We were a rowdy crowd! Just wanted to drop a line and say thank you. My kids still talk about you. They are grown up now, but still remeber Mr. Moulton. Hope you are enjoying Heaven! RIP You are remembered.

Mr. Moulton was my teacher at Goffstown High School Class of 55'. We were so fond of him as a person and a teacher we called him "Uncle Moultie" He was a wonderful teacher in that I still remember the things he taught us. I have thought of him often through out my life and I remember him fondly. I know he is in the arms of Jesus because he lived with honor and love. He will be greatly missed.

Even though Bob started out as an English teacher, we doubt that he understands the meaning of the phrase “eternal rest”. Saint Peter probably greeted him with “Thank God you're here!” and invited him to double-check the rosters of Heaven, allowing him to continue his role of service to God, his country, his community, and everyone he encounters.
Thank you Bob for showing all of us how to take the high road, maintain our integrity, deal with life's challenges, and choose kindness and charity to move forward with our lives.
There are no words to express how much we will miss you, especially your laughter. See you again, dear friend.

One of nature's true gentleman. Always a smile, never even heard a harsh word. How many high school principals can you say that about. Thanks for all your tremendous efforts on our behalf. GHS Class of 1974

Thank you, Mr. Moulton, for your guidance and support during a critical period in many lives.
It was a small incident, but I remember an assembly after damages to a bathroom. What stood out was your message of respecting the building and caring for the place in which we were provided an education. It was a revelation that your regard and respect for people extended to the place and not that the place was more important than the people who used it.
Of course, there was nothing sweeter than your smile and asking how we were doing. Discipline meant high expectations and holding students to standards, along with your respect and personal concern. You set an example for authority; exhibited self-control; made everyone feel welcome; showed your passion for teaching (which many administrators lack); and, made the school a safe place giving everyone who wanted to the opportunity to learn.
Your legacy is the thousands of lives you touched and inspired. I am pleased to have the opportunity to write this tribute for those who remain.

There are people you forget as well as people you remember but there are very few people who stay present in your memory on a day-to-day basis because of the enduring imprint they made on your life. Mr. Moulton was one of those for me. He was fair, principled, and thoughtful, and he wielded authority with grace and strength. He was a natural educator. I consider myself lucky to have known him.

He was a great teacher, as well as a great Principal at Goffstown High School. He was well repected by most of the students there. He was a fair and honest person who handled student problems well. Well Bob, you and Leon will have fun talking about old times at GHS and especially the fun we had at our wedding! Its been quite a ride; both coming to GHS only a year apart and sharing so many fun times as well as the sad ones along the way. Enjoyed your friendship right to the end, and oh those reunions!! I think we must have attended dozens along the way. I will have you in my thoughts this week as I have in the last two. Happy to know you saw to it that I was aware you were "heading home" to be with God and your family. I will miss you, but the memories will live on. It was my pleasure to have met a man so suited for the job he had, and never failed to have the kids first in his heart. I knew a man like that; perhaps he learned from you my friend! Rest in peace. Job well done.

To Bob's family & friends,
I am so sorry for your loss. I met Bob a couple of years ago and found him to be a quiet, gentle soul and gentleman. What a wonderful, full life he had. He will be missed dearly. He is with his Creator and loved ones now. I pray that you may find Strength and Peace through God's love at this difficult time and days ahead....One day at a time.
