Beverly G. Vandenburgh

Beverly G. Vandenburgh, 74, of Concord, passed away Sunday February 10th, 2013.

Bev was born in Yonkers N.Y. and graduated from Ohio State University in 1955 with a degree in nursing. Bev lived in Amherst for 35 years before moving to Havenwood Heritage Heights in 2010. While in Amherst she was a volunteer EMT, a nurse in the ICU at Memorial Hospital in Nashua, a high school nurse in Milford and a Health Services Nurse at Digital Corporation. Most recently, she was a member of St Paul Episcopal Church in Concord.

Bev was a loving and compassionate wife, mother and grandmother to her large family and a dear friend to many. She loved the outdoors, hiking, photography, participating in community musicals, R.V. travel adventures, her beloved dog Charley and most of all being with people, her friends and family who live far and wide.

Bev leaves behind her beloved husband Don of 28 years; her four children and spouses, Andrew and Julie Russell of Amherst, Jon and Violisa Russell of Tahlequah, Okla., Elisa and John Pollard of Hopedale, Mass. and Katherine and Matson Rogers of Bozeman, Mont.; six step children and spouses; 20 grandchildren; and 10 great grand children.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, February 16, at 11 a.m., at St Paul's Episcopal Church in Concord.

Friends and Family are invited to a reception at the church immediately following the memorial service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Residents Fund of Havenwood-Heritage Heights or Share Outreach of Milford.
