Daisy E. Hale, 90, of Concord, passed away peacefully the morning of Thursday, July 17, 2014.
Daisy was born in Grafton on May 6, 1924, the daughter of George H. and Mabel (Bennette) Peirce. She attended Canaan High School and graduated from Plymouth State College with a degree in teaching. She worked for the State of NH and City of Concord for many years in several capacities. She was a member of the Priscilla Chapter Order of the Eastern Star and the Carriage Association of America where she enjoyed traveling.
Daisy is survived by her cousin, Frank Peirce of Pensacola, Fla.; as well as her devoted caretakers, her guardian and several dear friends.
In addition to her parents, Daisy was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence C. Hale who passed away in 2007.
Daisy will be laid to rest during a graveside service to be held Monday, July 21, at 1 p.m. at Grafton Center Cemetery, Route 4 in Grafton.
