Pasquale "Patsy" Alosa Jr., 76, died Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at Pine Rock Manor in Warner. He was born on Jan. 27, 1937, son of the late Pasquale Sr. and Jennie (Sansone) Alosa. He was a graduate of St. John's High School class of 1954 and Keene State College class of 1958.
He worked as a teacher at Austin Cate Academy and Concord High School. He joined the family business, Patsy's GMC in 1965. He was owner of Central NH Parts Exchange and Jan-Car Leasing until his retirement.
Patsy served on the board of Concord Housing Authority and the State of NH Environmental Air Resources Division. He was member of the United State Air Force and the NH Air National Guard, and a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church. He loved watching sports. He played rugby, basketball, bocce ball, and coached basketball. He was a 4th degree knight in the Knight's of Columbus Council #112, and a life time member of the 100 club.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Judith Rajala; one sister, Angela; and one brother, John.
He is survived by two sons, Matthew of Manchester and Michael of Florida; longtime companion Norrine Lincoln; brother, Joe; and sisters, Rosa and Bernadette; grandchildren, Tom, Christopher, Samantha and Joshua; and nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, July 30, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Waters Funeral Home, 50 South Main St., Concord.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, July 31, at 10 a.m. at Christ the King Parish, St. John's, 72 South Main St., Concord.
Burial with Military Honors will follow at the NH State Veterans Cemetery.
