ReJean M. LaCasse(1956 - 2014)

BOW - ReJean M. LaCasse, 58, peacefully passed away Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014, surrounded by his wife and daughters.

ReJean was born Feb. 11, 1956, in Saint-Zacharie Quebec, to Alcide and Jeannette (Roy) LaCasse. His family moved to the States when he was 6 years old. He became a United States citizen in 2007.

He was a carpenter by trade. He enjoyed traveling, camping, kayaking and antiquing with his wife, whom he started dating in the eighth grade. He loved his two daughters who gave him four beautiful grandchildren whom he worshipped. He was an involved Dad and Papa who loved to watch his grandson play sports, especially hockey. His granddaughters frequently performed dance, tumbling and singing routines and he was always a good sport when they got their makeup out. He was also an avid fan and season ticket holder of the Manchester Monarchs.

ReJean is survived by his wife of almost 39 years, Kathy (Cochran) LaCasse; two daughters, Tabetha Wheldon of Concord and Nicole Rivers and her husband, Chris, of Weare; four grandchildren, Cooper and Ava Rivers and Felicity and Lainy Wheldon; his father, Alcide LaCasse of Canada; six brothers, Ghislain LaCasse and his wife, Pauline, Michel LaCasse and his wife, Lori, Mario LaCasse, Johnny LaCasse and his wife, Sheri, Luc LaCasse and his wife, Peggy, and Steve LaCasse and his wife, Pam; three sisters, Desneige Mounsey and her husband, Jim, Bibianne LaCasse and Danielle Boissy and her husband, Bruce; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his mother, Jeannette (Roy) LaCasse; and a sister, Micheline LaCasse.

Visiting hours will be held Monday, Feb. 17, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Waters Funeral Home, 50 S. Main St., Concord.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Feb. 18, at 10 a.m. in the chapel of the Waters Funeral Home.

Burial will be held in the spring at the Evans Cemetery in Bow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Henniker Youth Hockey Association, Attn: Tuition Assistance, P.O. Box 927, Henniker, N.H. 03242, which assists kids who want to play hockey and do not have the funds; or your local Make-a-Wish Foundation, 814 Elm St., #300, Manchester, N.H. 03101.
