Robert "Red" Burbank(1950 - 2014)

ALLENSTOWN – Mr. Robert "Red" Burbank, 63, of Sunrise Lane, died Saturday, March 29, 2014, at the CRVNA Hospice House.

Red was born in Manchester on Sept. 12, 1950, the son of the late Earl and Mildred (Campbell) Burbank.

He was a proud member of the Merrill Follansbee American Legion Post #37 in Hooksett.

Red led a simple life, always worked hard, and loved his family and friends. He enjoyed his work as a truck driver for many years for both the towns of Hooksett and Londonderry.

He is survived by his two sons, Jason "Woody" Burbank and wife, Stacy, of Hooksett and Nathan Burbank and Alison of Manchester; a brother, Richard Burbank and his wife, Claudette, of Hooksett; and a sister, Peggy Rollins and her husband, Orvie, of Hooksett. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a sister, Martha Palmer; and a brother, Wayne Burbank.

A gathering will be held Saturday, April 5, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Petit Funeral Home, 167 Main St. in Pembroke, with a special time of remembrance at 2:30 p.m.

Following cremation, Mr. Burbank will be buried in the Cate Cemetery in Hooksett.
