BOSCAWEN – Robert J. LeClair Sr., 77, of Boscawen passed away Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014, at home after a long battle with vascular disease, with his loving wife of 57 years by his side.
Born in Pembroke on Dec. 28, 1936, the son of Charles and Antonia (Fredyma) LeClair. Retired from N.H Hospital after 31 years, Bob loved spending his time ocean fishing and hunting, especially pheasant hunting. He took pride in his yearly garden and maintaining his beautiful flowers and yard. He also loved taking long scenic car rides and trips to the ocean, and spoiling his grandchildren.
He was a kind man with a heart of gold and a tremendous sense of humor. He was also a U.S. Marine and served in the Korean War
He was predeceased by his three children, Joanne, Paula and Robert Jr.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Beverly (Gagne) LeClair of Boscawen. Four grandchildren, Michelle (LeClair) Boudreau of Boscawen, Tasha (LeClair) Hilson of Hopkinton, Mass., Steven LeClair of Loudon and Tyler LeClair of Concord. He also leaves his six great-grandchildren as he called his, "Muskalaros" Austin, Mason, Caden, Tristen, his chunky monkey Landon and newest edition Cody.
The Family would like to thank the VNA and Hospice Program, Dr. Paul Clark, Roxanne and everyone else involved in taking great care of Robert throughout the years.
Per his request there will be no services.
