WEBSTER - Sandra Alexander died Wednesday, July 25th, 2012 at Concord Hospital in Concord. She left behind three children, Bruce Alexander, Deborah Alexander, and Joseph Alexander and two granddaughters Zoe Alexander and Katherine Alexander. Sandra was 71 years of age when she passed.
Sandra was born in Boston October 1st, 1940. She was one of 10 children. Sandra grew up in Cambridge, Mass. Upon graduation from high school Sandra moved to Mexico City where she worked for the Peace Corps and attended college. While working with disadvantaged children in Mexico Sandra contracted meningitis and returned to Cambridge before graduating from college. Shortly after her recovery she met Robert Alexander at a gathering at Harvard's international house. She later married Robert and had Bruce, Deborah, and Joseph. Robert and Sandra raised their children in Wayland, Mass. Both Sandra and Robert were animal lovers. They had several horses, two Saint Bernard dogs, and over 100 Rhode Island Red chickens while living in Wayland.
Robert passed away January of 1979 from complications from a benign brain tumor. After his death, Sandra moved to Webster with her youngest son Joseph in 1984. After moving to New Hampshire Sandra continued her education. Over the 28 years she lived in Webster she attained two Bachelors of Science degrees at the New Hampshire Technical Institute - one degree in art and the other in sociology.
Sandra will be remembered by her friends and family as an extremely generous and loving person.

A memorial service is planned for Saturday, July 28, at 1 P.M. at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 247 Pleasant St., Concord; a reception will follow in the church fellowship hall.
All are invited to the memorial service and the reception.
