Jim was a member of the Sons of American Legion, VFW, Elks, Moose, Eagles, and Society of American Baseball research.

Jim was a friend and a man of compassion. His integrity and love for others was second to none.I will miss him but find solace that he is in a much better place and that God Almighty has the best right hand man to assist him in this very troubled world. I suspect that is why our Lord called him home early and now has there is hope for peace on earth.

Heidi, Sean and Tyler,

My condolences to you all during this most difficult time. May you find strength knowing that Jim made a positive difference in many lives.

I had the good fortune of having Jim as a friend and coworker for many years...first when he was employed by PUC...then when he came to Safety. He was a very hard working and dedicated police officer. He had a quick wit and a unique sense of humor.

Our friendship continued after retirement. We enjoyed many stories at Stevie Tomatoes Sports Bar on the strip in Fort Myers when he came to visit and he served me a Bud Light at the Concord Legion not long ago.

Heaven will never be the same again with him there. I'm sure he has already lit a cigar, kicked his feet up and tuned in the Red Sox! I'm also certain that he would want me to keep his number in my contact list under "The Nut"! I will call him when I get there and ask him to meet "Spongy", "Danny Wheels", Studsy, "Marcus Arillius", "Father Joe", "Forbsey", "Stanley", "Action Jackson", "JW", "Johnny B", "JC" and me at Bickford's Restaurant for coffee!

Rest in Peace my Friend.
