BOW - Douglas A. Lamontagne, age 85, died Sunday, February 3 at his home. He was born in Lancaster, son of the late William and Florence (Merriam) Lamontagne. He attended Lebanon High School, leaving early to serve his country in the United States Navy during WWII. Douglas was employed by the United States Postal Service as a Postal Clerk for 28 years, retiring in 1987.

He enjoyed attending his grandchildren's sporting events which he did frequently, going out to lunch everyday with his friends, and looked forward to attending the annual NH Good Roads Show every year.
He is predeceased by his wife Jeannette (Dionne) Lamontagne.
He is survived by his son, Mark Lamontagne and his wife Kathy; two grandchildren, Nate and Maria; sister, Marion Rand; and one niece.
Visiting hours will be held Thursday, February 7th, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Waters Funeral Home, 50 South Main St., Concord.
Funeral services and burial with military honors will take place in the spring at Evans Cemetery Bow.
