BOSCAWEN – Eleanor (Kenney) Tabor Corliss passed away at Merrimack County Nursing Home, Saturday, December 30, 2017. Born in Fremont, January 6, 1919, Eleanor was the daughter of Richard and Gertrude (Kenney) Kenney.

Known to all as a gracious and elegant lady, Eleanor was an expert dressmaker and loved to read and paint. At age 58, she graduated from the NH Hospital School of Nursing, and worked as a Registered Nurse. Eleanor was a member of the Webster Women's Union, and received Webster's Boston Post Cane in 2015. A member of the NH Poetry Society, she published a book of poems she had written throughout her life.

Eleanor was predeceased by her three sons, Richard, Stanley and Bruce Tabor; and two husbands, Reginald Tabor and Richard Corliss. She is survived by her sister, Virginia "Ginna" Steele of Conway; three grandchildren, Scott, Catherine and Jesse Tabor; two nephews, Thomas and James Steele; and her Corliss step-children and step-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Eleanor's 99th birthday, Saturday, January 6, at 11 a.m. at the Webster Congregational Church.

Inurnment services will be held in the spring, both in Contoocook with her husband Richard, and in Conway with her three sons.
