On Wednesday, November 14, 2012, Florence Elizabeth "Betty" Werren went home to be with the Lord surrounded by her living family. She was born July 7, 1931 in Wolfeboro to Elmer and Lillian Downing.

Betty married Richard Werren in 1949 and they were married for 51 years.
Betty had many hobbies and talents that she passed along to everyone that knew her. She was an avid knitter, awesome seamstress and her recipes have been passed on through many generations. She was a lifelong avid Red Sox fan.
Betty is predeceased by her husband Richard in 2000; her son Michael in 1988.
She is survived by her children Reece Werren, Kathleen Gesner, Christine Pratt, Joline Depew, Carroll Werren, Rosemary Servis and William Werren. She is also survived by loving in-laws; 20 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; her sister Shirley Lehoux; her aunt Luella; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 15, at 11 a.m., at The Bible Speaks in South Berwick, Maine.
The interment service will be held in the spring at the NH Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jimmy Fund in her name.
