WILMONT – Henry Edward LeMieur, 91, of Wilmot died peacefully at The Clough Center in New London on Nov. 8, 2012.

Henry was the son of Fred and Charlotte LeMieur and was raised in Westminster, Mass. He resided in Wilmot the last seven years.
Henry proudly served in WWII, serving at the Battle of the Bulge, and was also an active member of the American Legion in Westminster. Henry worked for Simplex Time Recorder in Gardner, Mass., and retired in 1983.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 69 years, Agnes. He and Agnes enjoyed many years camping and travelled extensively.
Henry is survived by two daughters Rita Lavoie and her husband, Edgar, of Westminster, Mass., and Carol Weatherbee of Wilmot; three grandchildren, Catherine Bedard of Leominster, Mass.; Deborah Lavoie of Germanton, N.C., and Jason Weatherbee of Manchester; and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, at 10 a.m. at St. Edwards Church in Westminster, Mass. Burial will follow in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Westminster, Mass.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Fatima at 724 Main St. or Lake Sunapee Region Visiting Nurse Association, P.O. Box 2209, both in New London, 03257. Chadwick Funeral Service of New London is assisting the family with arrangements.
