BOW - Joseph L. Champigny, 63, of Route 3A, died Wednesday, June 19, 2013. He was born in Concord son of the late Joseph L. Champigny Jr. and Alice (Doyle) Champigny. He was a lifelong resident of Bow and wintered in Ormond Beach, Fla.

At an early age Joe was working in the family market and gardens. Joe continued to run the business and fireworks store all his life with the help of his wife, Nancy and family. Joe was an excellent sportsman, winning many awards and trophies in baseball, pool and horse shoes.
In addition to his parents, Joe was predeceased by his sister, Faye Hawkes; and dear grandfather, Joseph Champigny Sr.
Joseph leaves his wife, Nancy Champigny of Bow; one son, Joseph L. Champigny IV of Concord; one step daughter, Deborah Krauz Colby of Naples, Fla.; grandchildren, Christiana and Michael Colby Jr. of Naples Fla.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Joe most enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and niece. Going to movies, bowling, arcades, and especially supporting niece, Megan Bailey of Canterbury, by attending her sports games.
There will be no visiting hours.
Graveside services will be held Monday, June 24, at 1 p.m. at Alexander Cemetery, River Road, Bow.
The Waters Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Donations may be made in Joe's memory to the charity of ones choice.
