SILVERSPRING, Md. – Julie Anne Bartlett, born April 1, 1973, in Concord, died Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington DC. Daughter of Barry R. Bartlett and Anne Demotta. She was a graduate of Merrimack Valley High School, and graduated from University of Maryland with a degree in criminal justice. She was employed as a Federal Probation Officer in Washington DC. During her career she help to establish drug court.

She loved all animals especially her beloved kittens. She was a diehard Red Sox Fan, loved to travel and was considered by many to be an amazing young woman.
She is survived by her father; Barry Bartlett of Bow; her mother, Anne DeMotta of Deering; brother, Scott Bartlett of Winston-Salem, N.C.; stepfather, Bill DeMotta; stepmother, Christine Bartlett; amazing partner and friend, Miguel Jorge; stepbrother, Richard Antoine; stepsister, Lisa Cutrer; nephews, Andre Payne, Bryce Bartlett, Cameron and Carter Cutrer, Christopher Antoine; nieces, Jasmine Payne, Jordan Bartlett and Holly Antoine; cousins and aunts and uncles.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, June 18, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Waters Funeral Home, 50 South Main St., Concord.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 19, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the Waters Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Concord.
