BOW – Kathryn "Katy" (Holbrook) Lucey, 55, of Peaslee Road passed away Monday, Oct. 9, 2017, at Lahey Hospital in Burlington, Mass. after a courageous battle with liver disorder while awaiting transplantation.

She was born in Concord on Sept. 16, 1962, daughter of the late Jean (Nicoll) Schaller and Robert Holbrook.

Katy was a graduate of Newfound High School and Southern Vermont College where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Healthcare Administration with Summa Cum Laude honors, and was Class Salutatorian.

30 plus year career as a Managed Care operations executive. Notably, a member of the start up team that built HealthSource (acquired by Cigna) growing to serve 3 million members' healthcare nationwide and as the New England operations leader for Schaller Anderson, Aetna's Medicaid Division providing care management services to the New Hampshire and Maine MediCaid populations .

Katy was a devoted Mom to her two children, Ronan and Campbell. She was involved in Bow School volunteer activities and Bow Youth Sports Teams. She was an avid golfer as a long time Plausawa Valley Country Club member. She was a softball player at Southern Vermont College and later recreationally in Concord leagues. A Red Sox loyalist, voracious reader, concert goer and lover of the Maine Seacoast and beaches everywhere.

She is survived by her husband of 21 years, David Lucey Jr; her son, Ronan Lucey; and daughter, Campbell Lucey; her brothers, John Holbrook and his wife, Nancy and Steven Holbrook and his wife, Sandy; her sisters, Robin Vermette and her husband, Bill and Jayne Foss and her husband, Steven; sister-in-laws, Amy Jagoda and her husband, Michael and Sarah Mik and her husband, Brian; and brother-in-law, Phil Lucey and his wife, Christine; and her mother and father-in-law, Monica and David Lucey Sr.; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her stepfather, Scott Schaller.

Memorial visiting hours will be held on Friday, October 13, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Waters Funeral Home, 50 South Main St., Concord.

A memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 14, at 10 a.m. at Christ the King, St. John's Church, 72 South Main St., Concord.
