DEERING - Melvena "Micky" Parker, 92, of Deering, died Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, at Presidential Oaks after a brief period of failing health.

She was born April 7, 1921 in Hillsboro, daughter of Polish immigrants Antoni and Louisa (Bondar) Zeludanz. She was also predeceased by her brother, John Zeludanz and a sister, Julia Senecal.
Survived by her husband, Kenneth F. Parker, whom she married on Nov. 1, 1947; daughters, Janice Bolton of Deering, Linda Lett of Rochester and Lana Parker of Northfield Falls Vt.; grandchildren, Sarah Furtado, of Rhode Island and son, Joseph, Stephen Samson of Kitty Hawk, N.C. and his wife, Keil, and children, Ella, Parker, Matte, Sclah and Christopher Samson of Kill Devil Hills, N.C., William Lett III of Abbott, Maine and Stephanie Prete of Rochester, and husband, Michael, and children, Cody, Marcus and Noha; many nieces and nephews and a sister, Anna Barrett, of Hillsboro.
Graveside services will be held Friday, Oct. 4, at 2 p.m. in St. Charles Cemetery in Hillsboro, the Rev Paul Gaylord pastor of Hillsboro Baptist Church will officiate.
