Tuftonboro – Paul Deane Clarke, 81 of Oakhill Road, Tuftonboro, died Wednesday, Nov. 6, at the Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover.

Mr. Clarke was born in Concord on Aug. 12, 1932, son of the late Robert and Grace (Hirtle) Clarke. After graduating from Penacook High School, he served his country with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War and was stationed in several remote stations in the United States and foreign countries. He retired from the Air Force after 20 years as a staff sergeant diesel power generator technician.
After retirement, he moved to Wyoming and has lived in Tuftonboro for the past 40-plus years.
Survivors include a son, Dana Clarke of Gillette, Wyo.; a daughter, Candy Johnson of Gillette, Wyo.; a brother, Richard Clarke of Wolfeboro; a sister, Joye Olson of Concord; three grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, at Baker-Gagne Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 85 Mill St., Wolfeboro.
Inurnment will be at 1:30 p.m., at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
