FRANKLIN - Shirley Jane Wetmore, 88, died Friday, May 18, 2012 at Mountain Ridge Nursing Home in Franklin.

She was born in Springfield, Mass. She worked as a secretary for the New Hampshire Division of Welfare. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in both Laconia and Concord.
Her interests included being a seamstress and her church family.
Survivors include her son Donald Curtis and his wife Helen of Concord; six daughters Barbara Follansbee of Loudon, Ellen Curtis of St Petersburg, Fla., Kathy Price and her husband Ken of Concord, Debra Sailer and her husband Robert of Claremont, Janet Churchill of Claremont and Tracey Laskey and her husband Bill of Claremont; two sisters, Janet and Barbara both of New Jersey; eighteen grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her first husband Carl Curtis in 1948 and by her second husband Walter Wetmore in 2001; by her brother Ken Curtis and by two grandsons.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, May 23, at 6:30 p.m. at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 310 Sheep Davis Road, Concord.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 310 Sheep Davis Road, Concord, NH 03301 or to Mountain Ridge Nursing Home, 7 Baldwin Street, Franklin, NH 03235.
