LOUDON - Irene Bronstein, 82, of Loudon died after a lengthy illness at Pleasant View Center, with her husband Sidney at her side.

She was born April 24, 1929 in Chelsea, Mass., the daughter of Max and Molly (Teller) Rubin.
Irene was married to Sidney M. Bronstein in Brookline, Mass. May 10, 1953.
After raising her family, Irene worked outside the home as a bookkeeper. She was a temporary bookkeeper, but eventually was full time at Naults Ford in Manchester.
Irene always enjoyed ballroom dancing and bowling, and in her later years, she particularly enjoyed spending time with the grandchildren, and traveling in their RV.
Her family members include her husband of almost 59 years Sidney M. Bronstein; her son Stephen A. Bronstein and his wife Susanne of Ashland, Mass.; her daughter Michelle Lockhart of Tewksbury, Mass.; her brother Irwin Rubin and his wife Harriet of Mashpee, Mass.; her sister Ethel Fishman and her husband David of Mashpee, Mass.; two grandchildren Samuel Bronstein and Sophie Bronstein; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 18, at 10:30 a.m., at the Temple Beth Jacob, 67 Broadway, Concord.
Burial will immediately follow at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen. Those going to the cemetery will go in funeral procession.
Shivah will be observed at the family home from 6 to 8 p.m. on both Wednesday and Thursday evenings.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Irene's memory to the Temple Beth Jacob, 67 Broadway, Concord, NH 03301.
