Marilyn R. (Martin) Slentz, formerly of Bow, died Sunday, March 30, 2014, at Concord Hospital.

She was born in Lowell, Mass. on Sept. 5, 1930, to Felix and Edna Martin. She graduated from Concord High School and later joined the Women's Air Corps during the Korean Conflict. It was there she met her husband John H. Slentz. She owned and operated the Porch Beauty Salon for many years. She also enjoyed woodcarving and painting.
Marilyn was predeceased by her husband, John H. Slenz; and sister, Clara Audet.
She is survived by daughter, Joan Kristy Erickson and her husband, Gary Erickson, of Bow, and their two sons, Deven and Dylan Erickson. Her daughter, Shayne Ellen Slentz of Scottsdale Ariz., and her son, John Martin Slentz and his wife, Irina Tokareva of San Carlos, Calif. She is also survived by two sisters, Joan Parsons of Bourne, Mass. and Noreen Thomas and her husband, John of Monroe, Conn. as well as several nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
