LOUDON – Winifred Daisy Mulley Yeatts, 1912-2014, of Loudon, daughter of Spencer and Daisy Mulley, beloved wife of William Franklin Yeatts (deceased) and daughters, Annette Winifred (deceased), Marjorie Belle, Sandra Jean, and sons, William Franklin Yeatts Jr., Byon Warner, has taken leave.

Music filled her life as an accomplished pianist playing Chopin. She was a voracious reader of historical fiction and mysteries. She always wanted to be a singer. All her children share her love of the arts, music and literature. She attended Pierce Business School in Philadelphia, and was the expert speller in the family. She worked for The Department of Security starting out in investigations, and later in legal. She rose to Administrative Assistant before retiring. She was Worthy Matron of Eastern Star Bethany Chapter #61. She traveled to England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
She leaves behind five grandchildren, Marshall Jr., Michael and Matthew who are the children of Marjorie and Alexandra and Michael who are the children of Byon. She has seven great-grandchildren, Patrick, Carolyn and Micah who are the children of Marshall Jr., Emily and Katie who are the children of Michael and Stephanie and Audrey who are the children of Matthew. She leaves behind niece Judy Kendro of Maryland and grandniece Barbara Barr of Pennsylvania.
Memorial Visiting Hours will be held on Saturday, July 12th, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Waters Funeral Home, 50 South Main St., Concord.
Memorial Services will follow at 12 p.m. in the chapel of the Waters Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to support the Frail Elder Care program at Concord Hospital Family Health Center.
