WASHINGTON – Russell "Pete" Remillard, 59, died Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at his residence following a lengthy illness. Born in Manchester he has resided in Washington for the past 7 years having previously lived in Weare. He was the son of Edmond and Rita (Gravel) Remillard.

Pete was the owner and operator of Rem Brothers Paving. He enjoyed being outdoors working or relaxing at his home on Highland Lake, one of the many houses he built with great pride for his family. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family especially his two grandsons.? He will be remembered for his ?"generosity and kind heart" to others.
Members of his family include his wife Karen Remillard of Washington; Two grandsons, Anthony and Alex; Four siblings Nancy Durost of Londonderry, Sandra Bouldry of Chester, Gary Remillard of Hillsboro and Joann Leclerc of Weare; Several nieces, nephews and great friends.
Following cremation, visitation will be held Sunday, July 20, from 3 to 6 p.m. at French and Rising Funeral Home, 17 South Mast Street, Goffstown. A memorial service will be held Monday, July 21, at 10 a.m. in the funeral home.
