CHICHESTER – Laurie (Cleveland) MacRae, a lifelong Chichester resident, died Monday, August 11, 2014, just three days shy of her 55th birthday.

Born in Concord on August 14, 1959, Laurie was the daughter of James Cleveland of Chichester and. the late Katherine (Mantia) Cleveland.

She worked for the NH Department of Education as a program specialist and was a member of the SEA. She also supported the ASPCA and enjoyed pruning and picking her blueberries.

Members of her family include two daughters, Kelley Garcia of Islamorada, Fla. and Sara Wright of Concord; four grandchildren, Tony Garcia, Brooklyn Wright, Jimmy Garcia, and Reece Whaley; a brother, Richard Cleveland of Haverhill, Mass.; a sister, Sandra Kennard of Pembroke; nieces and nephews, and her longtime friend, Richard Tucker.

Graveside services will be held Monday, August 18, at 10:30 a.m. at Blossom Hill Cemetery in Concord. Also on Monday, all are invited to a remembrance gathering to be held at Tandy's Top Shelf in Concord at 4 p.m. to share food, drink, and memories.
