NORTHFIELD – Bill (Sonny) Robinson died Monday, August 18th, 2014, around 8 p.m. at the Merrimack County Nursing Home in Boscawen, after fighting a long battle with Parkinson's Dimentia.
The Guest Book is expired.
Bill was born in Northfield on December 15th, 1941. He attended school in Tilton and from there enlisted in the U.S Marine Corp. serving our country for four years.
While stationed in California he met his wife Kitty. They were married in New Hampshire on March 9th, 1963. They had three children together, Zoey Lane of Charlotte, N.C., Zanne Rigoli of Greensboro, N.C. and Edward Aaron Robinson of Charleston, N.C.
Kitty and Bill enjoyed a beautiful life together on Bean Hill Road in Northfield. Bill worked for PSNH for 33 years and in his off time loved to walk, fish and hunt. Bill still holds the state record for largest deer ever shot in New Hampshire, 273lbs field dressed, as well as winning many state fishing derby contests with his son Aaron and nephew Al Perez at his side. He lived his life taking care of and providing for his family and for this we are all very grateful.
He passed away surrounded by his wife, daughter, grandson and nephew going peacefully after such a long hard battle with a very ugly disease that steals your brain and your dignity. Bill leaves behind his wife and three children along with his four grandchildren, Zarek Harbour, Zannanda Rigoli, Haden Rigoli and Eban Robinson.
We all will miss you forever .......Thank you so much for being the great human being you were......
A Military Service to honor his life and passing will be held Friday, August 22, at 3 p.m. at the Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway in Boscawen.
