NORTHWOOD - Ruby P. Lidback, 67, of Rochester Road, Northwood died Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover.

She was born September 23, 1943 in Barre, Vt., the daughter of the late Millard and Martha (McCarty) Stevens. Mrs. Lidback graduated from Elliott School of Nursing. She has resided in Northwood for the past 42 years and was well known in Strafford and surrounding communities through her visiting nurses job. She finished her carreer at Frisbie Memorial Hospital in the geropsych unit. She was a member of the Bow Lake Baptist Church. An avid reader and crafter, she traveled to many crafts show and did many paintings. She loved her dogs.
Members of her family include her husband of 45 years, Keith W. Lidback, Northwood; son, Adam and wife Joanna Lidback ,Westmore, Vt.; daughter, Rebekah DeMaio, New Durham: four and one half grandchildren, Bethany, Noah, Abraham, Katie DeMaio; brother, David and wife Juliette Stevens, Westmore,Vt.; sister, Faye and husband Larry Willey, Barton, Vt. Many nieces, nephews, cousins.
There will be no calling hours.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 7, at 2 p.m. at Bow Lake Baptist Church, Province Road Strafford, with Rev. Lillian Buckley officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Bow Lake Baptist Church
A funeral service will be held at Westmore Community Church in Westmore, Vt., at a later date with graveside committal service at a later date at the Lakeview Cemetery in Westmore, Vt.
