BOW - Sarah Morrill Santy, 59, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2011. She is lifelong native of Bow where she raised her family.

She attended St Mary's School and graduated from Concord High. She received her BS in Education from Keene State College in 1974. She taught Home Economics at Ashland High, where she developed lifelong relationships with her students. She was a leader in Future Homemakers of America and caretaker to Mary Baker Eddy Birthplace.
Her hobbies included dressmaking, gardening, collecting, and she was an animal lover. She owned Verna Morrill Antiques in Bow. She was a court approved antique appraiser.
She enjoyed the company of friends and relatives and welcomed everyone into her home. She was a confidante to many young people and was affectionately known as Mama to many. Her sense of humor never faded even through the toughest times.
She is pre-deceased by her mother, Verna Morrill; her father, George W Morrill Jr.; her brother, George W Morrill, III; and her nephew, George W Morrill, IV.
She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Nolan Santy; her three children, Sarah, Rebecca, and Jonathan Santy; her sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and Gerry Whitman, and her nephew, Bill, and nieces, Lynda, Suzan, and Marianne and several great nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, July 20, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N Main St in Concord followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m.
Burial will follow at Alexander Cemetery in Bow.
