Allenstown – Mr. Leo E. St. Germain, 81, of Betty Lane, died Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, at Concord Hospital.

Born in Lynn, Mass., on April 4, 1931, Leo was the son of the late Arthur and Lora (Allard) St. Germain.
At 19 he joined the US Air Force, serving in Germany until 1954. Upon his return to the United States, Leo partnered with his brother Bob in Germain's Auto Parts, an auto salvage business. He also worked at Bob's Citgo until 1970 when he moved to New York to run a dairy farm until his retirement in 1997.
Leo loved music and was a talented pianist. He also loved golfing and baseball and, in true New England fashion, was an avid Red Sox fan.
Mr. St. Germain is survived by his wife of 60 years, Rita (Letourneau) St. Germain of Allenstown; two sons, Leo St. Germain and John St. Germain, both of Sunnyvale, Calif.; a grandson, Alex Burke St. Germain of N.Y.; three siblings, Elizabeth St. Germain, Robert St. Germain and Henry St. Germain and his wife Fran, all of Allenstown; as well as a close friend, Lorraine Richards of Allenstown. He was predeceased by his brother Albert "Sonny" St. Germain.
Calling hours are today from 6-8 p.m. at the Petit Funeral Home, 167 Main St., Pembroke. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated tomorrow at 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church, with burial following in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
