EDGEWATER, Fla. - Ethel Joyce Adams Hughey, 69, passed away due to lung cancer on January 28, 2013, with her daughters by her side.

Ethel taught school in Maine before dedicating her life to being a "Domestic Engineer" and settling in the Nashua area. She was again called upon to teach while the family was in Saudi Arabia. Upon return to the United States, Ethel found her niche in the electronics industry, working her way up through the ranks of Digital Electronics Corporation until her opportunity to retire arose in 1999, after which she and her husband, (Lloyd) Paul traveled together extensively until he passed away in Sept. of 2000. She loved to bowl in her younger years, and played a mean game of scrabble right up until the end.
